Reunion TV shows relating to adoption?

Has anyone here ever applied to go on TV shows that reunite first families during their search or even thought about doing it. If what were you experiences with the people who make the show, (relating to finding first parents or child/adult adoptee) or what made you change your mind.

Theres only about one show I know of in Aust called "Find my Family."
