And how did you deal with their liking of those things?
For Aisling its the remote, my cellphone and my glasses lol.
So when she wants those we usually just take the batteries out of the remote and sit her on our lap where she will play with it.
For the cellphone, I found an old cellphone of mine with no battery so now she has her very own phone lol.
And if she starts grabbing at my glasses, I'll let her see them and sit right next to her while she plays with them so she can't poke herself in the eye with them or pinch her fingers in the arms of them.
How about all of you? What things of yours do your babies absolutely love?
My 19 month old loves playing with Tupperware. She would rather play with a plastic bowl instead of all her wonder full toys. She also like playing with the remote control of course... she has even bitten one of the buttons off. grr! Little terrors! LOL
my 12 month old son absolutely loves the laptop i bought him one of those toy laptops but no he refuses to play with it and wants mummy and daddy's laptop, he also loves the mobile phone i had a spare phone that didn't work but he never plays with it because it doesn't turn on and has no photos on it, he plays with the remote control and the cd player he loves to dance
oh and also my husbands water bottle for some reason
Will really loves boxes, the dog, the cat, remotes, hats, the broom, dustpan and brush and the feather duster.
At the moment he is obsessed with the broom and pushing it around the floor. Hopefully soon I can find a toy broom that isn't pink and he can help me with the sweeping!
Last weekend, we went to celebrate the birthday of a friend. Marie decided that she wanted to give Joe a beaded necklace and some other girly accessories. But she bought a bag reminded me that it's really important to make time for the occassional non-toy.
