my 3week old baby is sick.......?

my son is only 3 wks old and already sick he caught it from his brothers. He's coughing really bad and somewhat congested, this all started 2 days ago and I feel really bad. I know it's too early to give him any meds so what should I do to comfort the lil guy.......

I would call the doctor and tell them that he caught what his brothers had and what should you do??? Im almost 100% sure that they will tell you to take him in to get checked out just incase he's more sick than you think. So if i were you, i'd call the doctor and see what he tells you!

Hold him and be with him. Helping him to be more vertical than horizontal might help the congestion to drain and keep him breathing more easily. Prop yourself up in bed with him and let him lay on your chest. Use a room vaporizer to keep moisture in the air. And of course, take him to his pediatrician if the condition persists.

dont feel bad, not your fault. get advice from your dr or health visitor. get family members to help with the housework and other kids. hope all goes well.

If he is congested use some saline drops and one of those bulb syringes. Place just a couple of drops in his nose and then suction it back out. Because he is to young for meds keeping his nasal passages moist will help out so much, try using a humidifier by his bed or take him into the shower with you, well not litterally, place him in the bathroom while you take a shower so he can breath in steam.
