I took the Chinese confinement meals. I couldn't take too much ginger because I'm breastfeeding so it's a lot of those tonic soups, herbal chicken and fish. I had to eat as much as I could (which wasn't a lot as my appetite isn't very good after delivery) because my mom insisted they're good for my health. Haha.

Well my mother was here since I had a much needed c-section. So I ate a bunch of fried egg sandwiches, beans and rice, and pasta with huge amounts of trans fats free margarine. Oh and those other things contained a whole bunch of margarine too, because a little bit according to my mom is like a TBSP. Blah!!! But after she left and my husband went back to work, I needed to get my butt back in the kitchen because I have other kids that need real food! So then I was making quite a bit of real meals. Now, my energy has gone down hill, we have begun to eat out more than once a paycheck, and added a few convenience items to the shopping cart!

I honestly didn't eat hardly enough after Mia was born. Even though i was exclusively breastfeeding. My mother and partner even sat me down and asked if i had an eating problem lol...
Since then they made sure i ate everyday but the fact was, i was way too tired to eat!
My diet was....Banana or sandwich until supper then my partner would cook us a proper meal. If i hadn't already crashed

Eat, what is that?

Man, I've lost SOO much wait since I had my son. 5-6 more lbs and me and dr. will have some issues.

Same as you....lots of lean cuisine. My husband did cook hem for me though, I had a c-section and had a hard time with stairs. Try the Stouffer's tv dinners, so much better than the lean cuisine. 3 months later, its still what I'm eating...

After having the baby i didn't eat too much either, I was such a big worrier i didn't find time to eat..just constantly worrying lol "baby has a cold, he cant breathe out of his nose or what if somehow he covers himself with a blanket", I was always stressin about something but then eventually I calmed down haha. Plus i knew i had to eat more to be able to breastfeed. When i did eat it was usually a sandwich with an apple and some cranberry juice... sounds good right now lol.

Aww those first few weeks of bringing your baby home for the first time..... Doesnt seem that long ago..

I took a very simple approach to nutrition, choosing foods that require little or no preparation. I had fresh fruit, raw vegetables, melted cheese on toast, yogurt, nugget-type cereal, boiled meat.

I didn't eat much. I had an appetite but I only ate little bits for the first month.
