It's different for every woman and every birth. MOST of the time things go right back to normal 6-8 weeks post partum. But if yours don't ( and uterine/rectal/etc prolapse isn't that uncommon) there are simple outpatient surgeries for vaginal rejuvination. So if you do have a damaged pelvic floor, there is an easy way to fix it and you don't have to live like that forever.

If childbirth is really that scary for you, you can always opt for a cesarian section. That is a better option then aborting your child.

This is the most ridiculas thing I have ever heard! If you had enough love to give a child that you would consider adoption you should have enough to care more about your baby then yourself! Also I think your friend is full of it, she must have had some of these issues before & just wants to blame it on something. If you abort this baby for this reason, I really hope you do not go on to adopt as your kids will do alot worse to you in their lifetimes than stretching you out a bit temporarily - will you not love them then either?
