Default Joining military but I have no family and little financial means ?

Hi , well after a fall out with my state college as well as Father , I am going to take my ASVAB test on Monday. My high school standardized test scores which are state requirements as well as short version of ASVAB are very high. So I have no worries there. I was just curious, if my employment is at my Dad's company and I now have lost my job, do any of you know any suggestive means of surviving until leaving for boot camp? I am a pretty skinny guy but I have excellent stamina and core body strength along with high intelligence. The only thing I am worried about is not necessarily passing the physical the first time and therefore being more or less homeless. I live by myself in an apartment but I probably won't be able to afford rent after this month. Thank you, hope you have a nice weekend.

My physical traits are as listed:

6'1
160 lbs
Nearing age 20 in one month. Caucasian.

Your race is completely irrelevant to the military.

You either need to find a roommate to help with expenses, or move in with a friend until you have saved enough for deposit on a room or efficiency apartment. Again, if you split expenses and live very close to where you work, it should be doable.

I say this because the process of actually shipping out in the military takes several months, at a minimum. Your chances of leaving sooner are better if you are willing to join the Army, or if you are not very particular about your job specialty in the other services (Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or even the Coast Guard.) Just let your recruiter know the situation and they'll do what they can - be aware the wait is longest for Navy and Air Force right now.

The Army is your best bet. Tell the recruiter that you'll take ANY job that will get you out of town, fast. Get put on the list for leaving on short-notice when some person in Delayed Entry drops out.
