Default How does Attorney Generals office locate parents who are hiding from paying

child support? I called their office to check status of my case and they haven't located my ex husband and asked if I had new addresses where he might be staying. I gave them a few and asked if they were going to send him notices and they said that's not what they do, they will make sure the person lives there BEFORE they send letters or try to serve him for court..do they hire PI's to do this or do they have a dept. who's job is to stake out the homes? Seems like it's taking forever for them to find him, he's a master electrician and his license is still active and permits are still being pulled but they can't suspend it! Ugh!

Try this site, I've heard it works. I think your ex pays any fee's. They can at least point you in the proper direction for your state.
