Default I am a single mom...is there a job where I can make alot of money?

Is there a job that doesnt require a whole lot of schooling where I can make enough money to raise 2 little boys? My husband and I just recently seperated.
some schooling would be okay...but like no more than a year. I do have some money saved up!
for the one ladies comment...that I don't appreciate! I was married for 11 years...sometimes it just doesnt work out!

Had you been my sister, this is what would have been on the inside of your bedroom door too.

1. The most important decision you will ever make is who you marry. Choose with your head as well as your heart.
2. Have no children until your bond is strong, and have no more than you yourself can support. You may just have to
3. At any and all costs finish your education to qualify for those high paying jobs. It is likely that you will work sometime during your marriage, probably for decades…. Get paid for it. And remember, your kids and your education are forever…. Husbands, lovers and promises are not!!
4. Have a stash of cash no one knows about even if you are sure you will never need it. You absolutely will, and the more the better.

You screwed up at number one by choosing a guy not really ready to step to the plate and parent.

And you screwed up ay number two, by having children before your bond was strong.

So you are now joining the 30% of white kids' moms raising children alone, and 62% of black ones doing so.

Hon, just get in school, and you get to do both... parent, and get your education.

Had my mom been your mom too, you would have easily sniffed out a rat looooonnnng before you chose him to be the sire of your children.

Get back on track. It makes no difference what you do. Right now, there are huge shortages in the medical field, and you could finish some of that training in 18 months. Check out your local jr. college.

You can get a degree as a registered nurse in two years at some community colleges--they start out at like 50,000 up to like 85,000. You can also start out as a Practical nurse--that only takes a little less than a year. They make less--probably around 35,000 to 45,000, but you could take your classes towards the registered nurse thing while working. Nurses have nice schedules too--they work three or four days a week (12 hour shifts).

Also, another two year degree is dental hygene. They make like 70,000 starting out and up to like 90,000. I know a lot of dental hygenists who only work like two days a week and make a living (like 35,000).

You could also go to beauty school--that only takes about a year. I have a friend who just got out of beauty school that makes $15 a haircut and can do three haircuts in hour--that's $45 per hour plus tips. Another friend has been cutting hair for about four years and she makes $45 per haircut.

Or be a massage therapist--that's a year. All you have to do is be committed to being the best at whatever career you choose, and stick with it. And you will make a lot of money in time.

If you have no skills and no schooling then I don't think your going to make a lot of money. If you can work construction like a man or drive a truck maybe, but your asking for something without earning it.

well assuming you dont think stripping is an option - being a bartender can give you easy money without any big schooling, and if you can work in a club or something good you can make pretty good money

as for school your on your own - some gave good advice - as for ladyren -your tough.......but I guess advice does work
