Default Should parents supply their tweens and teens with sexual devices in addition...

...to sexual education? why? why not? A child psychologist posits that if parents inform their tweens and teens of safer and less emotional ways to achieve an orgasm that they will think twice before having sex with someone, because they will know that it is ok to please themselves and they don't need to feel pressure to do it with someone else.

sexual devises??? God no. There is a reason that you have to be 18 to go into those shops. Sexual education is a must but not how to do it, how to be safe and what the consequences are.

I plan on being very open in regards to these matters and talking often about it through the years. I remember many of my friends in 7th/8th grade had vibrators, so there should probably be a frank discussion about self satisfying around that time. I wont make her ask for one, perhaps one day, a vibrator will magically appear in her sock drawer after our discussion.
